Frequently Asked Questions
You’ll get your infusions either at your doctor’s office, a hospital, or an infusion center. Your insurance company and doctor will choose one that is right for you.
Your infusion appointment may take up to 2 hours to complete.
Once you've completed your 3 infusions, you may inject SKYRIZI subcutaneously at home (after proper training by your doctor, as prescribed) or at your doctor's office. You can inject at home using the SKYRIZI On-Body Injector (OBI), which you will get from your specialty pharmacy.

The infusion may cause drowsiness so it’s important that you arrange transportation to get home. We recommend arranging to have a friend or family member pick you up from where you receive your infusion.
SKYRIZI ON-BODY INJECTOR
The On-Body Injector is a small device that allows you to give yourself SKYRIZI. You'll do this every 8 weeks, as prescribed by your doctor, and after preparation, each injection takes about 5 minutes to complete. You will get your injector from a specialty pharmacy.

If you plan to inject at home, you’ll get your OBI from a specialty pharmacy—which pharmacy depends upon your prescription insurance coverage. Ask your doctor which specialty pharmacy your prescription is sent to.
You play an important role in making sure your medicine arrives when you need it. Your Skyrizi Complete Nurse Ambassador can help you understand the specialty pharmacy process and the logistics behind getting your medication—like how to track the shipment and what to do once it arrives.

You have support even when injecting at home. You should receive your first treatment using the On-Body Injector under the supervision of a qualified health care professional, so you can be properly trained for using it on your own. They will help you choose an injection site and guide you on the proper injection technique and how to use the injector.
Your Nurse Ambassador can help with a refresher on how to inject either in person or over the phone. You can even meet virtually for visual step-by-step guidance.
No, the On-Body Injector does not stay on your body permanently. You will remove it after injection is complete, which usually takes about 5 minutes.

If your Skyrizi Complete Savings Card is lost or stolen, contact AbbVie Access Support at 888.857.0636 to deactivate your current card and request a new one. Requesting a new card will not impact program benefits. New cards cannot be issued until the lost/stolen card is deactivated.
If your pharmacy is unable to process your Skyrizi Complete Savings Card for instant savings, you may still be able to get SKYRIZI for as little as $5 per treatment by using the Rebate Program.‡ Just call 1.866.SKYRIZI (1.866.759.7494).

There is no cost to enroll. Skyrizi Complete is a program that offers access to resources that include your Nurse Ambassador, the Skyrizi Complete Savings Card, and 1-to-1 assistance, all at no cost to you.
